Lucien Boyer
President and CEO, Havas Sports & Entertainment
Lucien began his career as Advertising Manager at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising from 1987 to 1988 before spending three years as the Director of Sponsoring for the Larousse -Lola-Lamborghini Formula 1 racing team. This experience helped him to create LMG (Lifestyle Marketing Group) in 1991.
In 1998, LMG was acquired by Havas and was the platform that launched the sport division of Havas, which grew steadily to become the leader in sports marketing in France. Since 2006, Lucien has been running and developing the Havas Sports network throughout the world (currently 20 countries). In 2008, Havas Sports expanded and became Havas Sports & Entertainment, integrating other existing entities of the Havas Group.
Havas Sports & Entertainment incorporates the audio-visual production agency Havas Productions, as well as brand entertainment pioneers Cake, set-up through offices in London, Manchester and New York City.
Member of the Havas Media Executive Committee, Lucien runs the Havas Sports & Entertainment network as the President/CEO. Beyond his managing role, he is recognized as one of today’s greatest experts in sports and entertainment.
Working for brands such as Coca-Cola, Orange or adidas, but also FIFA or Annecy 2018, Havas Sports & Entertainment is recognized as a leading sports and entertainment agency in the world.
Lucien Boyer also initiated the creation of the Global Sports Forum Barcelona, of which he is the general commissioner.
A graduate of ESSEC Business School, Lucien Boyer is married and has three children.
